A life-long Richmonder, Alexis brings local and state-wide economic development experience into the real estate world. Spending a number of years working on revitalization projects and historic commercial districts, she earned a Virginia Downtown Development Association award for Best Downtown Marketing Initiative. In 2009 she was invited to speak at the National Main Streets Conference in Chicago, based on her work combining community development, marketing and technology.
As the Economic Development Coordinator for the Town of Ashland, Alexis worked closely with community partners to support the efforts of small businesses, entrepreneurs and community assets, as well as large company relocations such as Vitamin Shoppe. At the state level, Alexis coordinated community development grant programs, promotional tools, tourism programming and economic development incentives.
Along with her career accomplishments, she also brings experience with residential investment property and her own fixer-upper adventures. When she’s not buying and selling real estate, Alexis spends her time chasing her children, adopting rescue dogs, and tackling DIY projects in her 94-year-old Forest Hills home.
